Heavy rain and flooding will continue today for portions of the Pacific Northwest and New England.

An area of low pressure slowly lifting over the Northeast will allow for heavy rain for portions of Southern and Central Maine. Up to 2 inches of rain and localized flooding will be possible. For the Pacific Northwest, showers will continue into the afternoon as a disturbance advances onshore. 2-3 inches of rain and localized flooding will be possible.
