Showers will be coming to an end across the Northeast on Friday with rainfall amounts expected under half an inch. A frontal boundary will advance through the Central Plains and into the Midwest. Isolated showers and general thunderstorms will be possible with no severe impacts expected. Further west, additional showers will begin to move onto the Pacific Coast late in the day, however, the heaviest rain averaging an inch, will remain offshore. Spotty showers and thunderstorms will be possible across Southern Florida and the Keys but no severe impacts are expected at this time as a non-tropical area of low pressure advances to the NE in the Southern Gulf of Mexico. Environmental conditions will not be favorable for significant development at this time.
