Hurricane Gonzalo has increased over the past day and the tropical storm force wind field has increased. Very high seas are expected in the Western Atlantic. Gonzalo is expected to remain a hurricane for the next 96 hours and then rapid weakening is expected. Gonzalo is expected to track just to the west of Bermuda and southeast of Newfoundland over the weekend. A Hurricane Warning remains in effect for Bermuda with significant impacts expected on Friday. Significant impacts to Newfoundland are expected over the weekend.
