Isolated severe thunderstorms, heavy rain, and flooding will be possible on Wednesday for portions of the Mid Atlantic and the Carolinas.
Thunderstorms will move east across the Mid Atlantic and Carolinas as an area of low pressure and cold front approaches from the west. While widespread severe weather is not expected, some isolated instances of hail and damaging winds will be possible. In addition, some areas may see up to 2 inches of rain.
