Thunderstorms are possible for portions of the High Plains ahead of an upper level trough moving across the Rockies. Daytime heating, upslope flow, strong shear, and moisture advection will allow for thunderstorm development, with some supercells. Large hail and tornadoes will be the main concern. Toward the evening, individual storms will merge into a line and pose a threat for hail and gusty winds.
