Thunderstorms are developing ahead of an upper level trough moving into the Upper Mississippi Valley. The increase in moisture and the ascent from this trough will allow for further thunderstorm development. As thunderstorms develop, damaging winds will be the main concern, but some isolated large hail and tornadoes will be possible.
