General thunderstorms will be possible Friday from portions of the Great Lakes into the Central and Southern Plains. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible for portions of the Southeast and Mid Atlantic. Thunderstorm activity will increase across the Four Corners region.
Severe weather potential will decrease on Friday. A few showers and thuunderstorms will be possible from the Plains to the Great Lakes along a frontal boundary. Elsewhere, showers and general thunderstorms will be possible across the Lower Mississippi Valley and Southeast.
