Severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday for portions of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible for portions of the Southeast and Mid Atlantic. Across the Four Corners region, isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible.
An area of low pressure over the Northern Rockies will quickly lift across the Upper Midwest. High pressure will build behind the low and across the Northern Plains. This will push a cold front into the Central and Southern Plains with showers and thunderstorms possible from the Four Corners region and into the Great Lakes. Severe thunderstorms will be possible from Wisconsin into Upper Michigan. Thunderstorms with the potential for large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes. Daytime showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the Southeast with minimal impacts.
