Showers and thunderstorms will continue for portions of the Plains as an upper level trough moves out of the Rockies. Daytime heating and low level moisture advection will allow for destabilization. As thunderstorms develop, large hail and damaging winds will be the main concerns, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Activity should weaken after sunset.
