Severe thunderstorms are possible on Saturday for portions of Missouri. General thunderstorms are possible for portions of the Dakotas, Upper Midwest, Great Lakes, Southern High Plains, and Gulf Coast.

By Saturday, a wave of low pressure over the Intermountain West will slowly scoot eastward and into the Northern High Plains while a more subtle disturbance digs into the Missouri Valley. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible from the Northern Plains/Upper Midwest into the Missouri Valley. While widespread activity is not anticipated, a few thunderstorms may become severe with a risk for hail and damaging winds across portions of Missouri. Otherwise, coastal areas along the gulf and much of the Great Lakes region will see a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
