Showers and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday for portions of the Ohio Valley/Mid Atlantic, Gulf Coast to the Carolinas, and the western US.
An upper level low will move into the Pacific Northwest as the ridge over the Rockies moves into the Plains. A front will approach the Gulf Coast as showers and thunderstorms move into the Northeast. Significant severe weather is not expected, but flooding will be possible Tuesday into Wednesday for portions of the Mid Atlantic into the Northeast.
