Thunderstorms are developing across portions of the Midwest and Central Plains ahead of a cold front. Additional development is likely through the afternoon. Initially, hail and damaging winds will be the main concerns as the storms begin to develop. Through the afternoon and evening, storms will congeal into a squall line, posing a primarily damaging wind threat.
