Thunderstorms with the potential for hail and damaging winds will be possible Wednesday across portions of the Ohio Valley and New England region. Afternoon thunderstorms with hail and damaging winds will be possible across the Northern Rockies.
The frontal boundary moving across the Great Lakes will continue through the Ohio River Valley and Northeast. With daytime heating, sufficient instability will allow for the development of thunderstorms capable of damaging winds.
Further west, thunderstorms are expected across Montana ahead of an upper level disturbance. Large hail and strong winds will be the main concerns.
