Severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday for portions of the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles. Heavy rain and flooding possible for portions of Central Oklahoma.
A weak area of low pressure and front across the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles will allow for the potential for severe thunderstorms. Wind profiles and moderate instability will allow for supercells capable of large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes.
Training thunderstorms over the Southern Plains will allow for very heavy rain across Central Oklahoma. 3 inches of rain, with locally higher amounts will be possible, as well as some flash flooding.
