Severe thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday across portions of the Central High Plains and Mid Atlantic. The risk, however, is expected to diminish substantially as a longwave trough shows signs of weakening. Across the Gulf Coast and Eastern Seaboard, damaging winds and an isolated tornado will be possible across the Mid Atlantic. The best chance for severe weather will be across the High Plains where large hail and damaging winds will be possible for portions of Wyoming and Colorado.
