Severe thunderstorms are possible Friday for portions of the Rockies and Northern and Central Plains. A front lingering over portions of the Plains in combination with a strengthening jet stream will initiate severe weather. Storms will develop along the boundary and move eastward. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main concerns. Where training of thunderstorms occurs, up to 2 inches of rain will be possible.
