Scattered showers with isolated severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are possible for portions of the Northern and Central Plains and the Midwest on Saturday.
Showers and thunderstorms that develop Friday evening will continue to shift eastward into the Northern Plains and Midwest on Saturday with rainfall averaging an inch. Severe thunderstorms with the potential for heavy rain, lightning, hail, and damaging winds will be possible. Isolated tornadoes are possible.
An area of low pressure moving off the coast of the Mid Atlantic will allow for scattered showers and thunderstorms. While severe weather is not expected, heavy rain, small hail, and gusty winds will be possible.
