There is a moderate risk for severe weather tomorrow for portions of Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas. An upper level trough will move into the Plains early tomorrow. Ahead of it, daytime heating and low level moisture advection will destabilize the atmosphere. With the trough moving into the Plains, strong shear, as well as ascent, will be sufficient for the development of thunderstorms. As thunderstorms develop, there will be the potential for large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.
