Showers and possibly some thunderstorms will be possible for portions of the Central and Southern Plains. Showers and thunderstorms will also be possible for portions of the Gulf Coast and into Florida, as well as portions of the Great Basin.

An area of low pressure will track into the Southern Plains, bringing rain to the region. A few thunderstorms will be possible across Southwestern Oklahoma. A few severe thunderstorms will be possible for portions of the Gulf Coast and into Florida ahead of a shortwave trough. A few thunderstorms will also be possible for portions of the Great Basin during the afternoon and evening due to daytime heating.
