Written by WeatherOps | Mar 27, 2014 4:57:51 PM

Thunderstorms are developing across portions of the Southern Plains today ahead of a dryline across portions of Oklahoma. To the north, an area of low pressure will develop over portions of Nebraska and Iowa. Thunderstorms will develop ahead of the attendant cold front later this afternoon. As thunderstorms develop, damaging winds will be the main threat, however, large hail will also be possible. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
