Moderate to heavy snow will be possible for portions of the Great Lakes and Northeast on Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will continue for portions of the Mid Atlantic and Southeast. 6-12 inches of snow will be possible from Upstate New York through Maine with some locally higher amounts. Freezing rain and sleet will also be possible for portions of the Great Lakes to Upstate New York, but significant accumulations are not expected.
